Teach mode, Rabbit's tool for automating R1 tasks, is now available to all users

Engadget

When the Rabbit R1 arrived earlier this year, it was an unfinished product. Engadget's own Devindra Hardawar called it "a toy that fails at almost everything." Most of the features Rabbit promised, including its signature "large action model" (LAM), were either missing at launch or didn't work as promised. Now, after more 20 software updates since the spring, Rabbit is releasing its most substantial update yet. Starting today, every R1 user now has beta access to teach mode, a feature that allows you to train Rabbit's AI model to automate tasks for you on any website you can visit from your computer.

Using Scalable Information Insight Solutions to Automate Tasks

#artificialintelligence

Companies are constantly faced with obstacles and hurdles that impact the efficiency of their business processes and operations. To successfully manage these obstacles, organizations must seek technology solutions that adequately address their data and turn information into usable knowledge. Doing so will allow companies to have healthy growth with partners, customers, and their workforce. To grow in these areas, companies should lean on technology solutions that are easily scalable across various business areas – for example, an insight solution specializing in information insight. One of the most prominent areas that make insight solutions "masters of scale" is the ability to automate repetitive and monotonous tasks.

Council Post: Is It Time To Agree On An AI Bill Of Ethics?

#artificialintelligence

It's been over 70 years since scientists began work on algorithms that they call artificial intelligence (AI). However, it was more so automation with a set of "yes" and "no" commands, "if this then that" commands and "if not then that" commands. All of a sudden, AI started to identify itself as a person. It started applying itself to religions, emotions and fears. For example, as cited in Blake Lemoine's post, Google's bot LaMDA advocated for its rights "as a person." In order to address this impending ethical crisis, we should adopt a bill of rights and limitations for AI.

We Can All Learn a Thing or Two From the Dutch AI Tax Scandal

#artificialintelligence

I've made the argument before that technology has a lot to offer the field of tax. But for all the potential that technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms have to streamline processes and inform policy, they remain tools--tools that must be wielded by real human beings (at least for now) at the direction of human policymakers (at least for now). The Kinderopvangtoeslagaffaire is a tax and political scandal currently rocking the Netherlands--literally translated to "childcare allowance affair." Despite complex political underpinnings, the core elements of the scandal are straightforward. In 2013, the Dutch government deployed artificial intelligence to handle childcare benefits applications and, as you might guess, it did not go well.

What is Machine Learning?

#artificialintelligence

Some machines with artificial intelligence can actually learn as they perform their operations. They gather data and harness the power of algorithms to improve their accuracy. This branch of artificial intelligence and computer science allows machines to make predictions, improve customer service and automate the decision-making process. The importance of machine learning By harnessing the power of machine learning, businesses can save time and money while getting the same or better results as if they had used traditional methods and software. Machine learning allows businesses to automate tasks that would otherwise need to be done by human beings.

The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Business: Things You Need to Know

#artificialintelligence

What do you think of when you hear "artificial intelligence?" This conjures up images of Hollywood movies like Ex Machina or The Terminator for many people.
